![]() The effects would disappear once the cursed items are out of the player's inventory, but if the Pigglins were agro, they would continue to try to kill the player without being distracted by the gold he could throw at them.īeing visible on a map would allow interesting tactics such has using armor stand with cursed items belonging to someone to completely hide an entire map from them, allowing the thief to be untrackable. It would not be OP since to be immune we would just need to wear armor. It would allow for very interesting tactics: for example, we could use dispensers to equip cursed armor on a player, useful for a security system or PVP. This effect could be compatible with curse of binding. ![]() The effect could be removed with a grindstone (like a regular enchant) or not (like the other curses). It would also show the position of the player on a map, akin to a banner. Unlike spectral arrows, the glowing effect would only be visible to the owner and would have no time limit. The thief would glow to the eye of the owner when holding the cursed item, similar to the effect of spectral arrows. The owner's name could be changed by the owner with a nametag in an anvil, to gift it to someone or become visible to them (this also could be a way to create teams in vanilla Minecraft). The owner is automatically assigned when the item is enchanted. The owner concept already exists in Minecraft with books, heads, and pets, so this is faithful to vanilla. It would be nice to have a new enchant on some of the rarest loots, curse of thief, which would put a target on the holder visible only to the owner.įor the piglins, they would attack anyone having an item with the curse of thief owned by them, adding much more challenge, but beyond that, if the owner is a player (on a server for example), the thief's position would become visible on a map and he will glow. Level designer Craig Bernardo worked on this location's design and creation.Using a hopper, we can easily steal loot in bastion without agro the piglins.
